CNC Machinist

BTM Industries is seeking an experienced and well-rounded CNC Machinist who is strongly qualified in programming, set-up AND operating turning centers and/or machining centers. The perfect candidate will meet all the following qualifications;

• Experience programming and running CNC turning centers and/or CNC machining centers
• Ability to set-up jobs independently or with little supervision/assistance
• Ability to utilize gages and measuring instruments to verify tolerance requirements are met
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions accurately
• Ability to properly and safely load and unload materials in machinery
• Consistently provide all required data accurately and reliably
• G Code or Conversational Programming at the machine is a plus!
• Familiarity with Fusion 360 (or willingness to learn)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working on your feet and using your hands
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as required
• Continually looking for ways improve processes, procedures and eliminate waste

Work Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Work Environment

• Temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
• Standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods
• Exposure to machinery and typical manufacturing activity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8.5 hour shift (Mon thru Thurs) and 6 hour shift Friday
