BTM Industries is seeking a reliable, curious, and hands-on individual who enjoys learning new things and doesn’t want to do the exact same thing every day. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who likes variety, wants to understand how a job shop works, and is open to being trained in multiple areas over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping and receiving parts and materials
- Assisting with inspections and basic quality checks
- Supporting machine operators and learning basic machine operation over time
- General shop support tasks as needed
- Maintaining a neat and organized work area
- Collaborating and communicating with Shop Foreman, Management and other staff
Qualifications & Skills
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Willingness to learn and try new tasks
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as required
- Comfortable working on your feet and using your hands
- Commitment to safety and following established procedures
- Take initiative and stay productive without constant supervision
Work Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Work Environment
- Temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
- Standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods
- Exposure to machinery and typical manufacturing activity
